    Move beyond the main roads and head into the villages of Bujagali and Kyabirwa. You will take the time to meet the people who make the place and enjoy some amazing and very personal moments with your camera. Taste local fruits and vegetables straight from the garden and safely navigate the village paths interacting with people and nature guided by David who will ensure you make the most of your experience.

  • JINJA TOWN EXPERIENCE

    This half-day tour takes you and your camera on a brilliant adventure, you will explore the vibrant and chaotic jinja market, move along the town streets enjoying the work of some very talented artists. A visit to the palace of the Busoga Kingdom awaits before making your way to Masese a bustling local fishing port on the edge of Lake Victoria for your lunch. Take a stroll over the impressive new Jinja bridge and you may spot some resident Nile Otters and the local fisherman checking their lines.

I'M DAVID A 25-YEAR-OLD UGANDAN PHOTOGRAPHER, BORN IN JINJA. I'M PASSIONATE ABOUT PHOTOGRAPHY AND OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS HAVE BEEN WORKING AND ASSISTING PHOTOGRAPHERS AND PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTS IN THE AREA LOCAL TO MY VILLAGE KYABIRWA NEAR BUJAGALI.

I set up the Jinja Photography Experience to share this amazing part of the world with visitors who like to explore with their cameras and see a very local and personal side to town and village life. Many people fear to make the pictures they really want because of language and cultural barriers but during these photo walks we enjoy meeting and sharing time with the people who make these places so special...giving you access to creating the images,  memories, and stories you want to share with family and friends.

VILLAGE TOUR.

You know everyone what made it very easy and nice to walk around. Your knowledge about plants and nature as well as Uganda is huge. It was very funny and it was probably the best tour I ever had.

The CITY TOUR in jinja:

It was interesting, you know the city very well and it was a nice walk, around it. You know where to find good food. I preferred the village tour because I could feel you're proud of your roots and you know every single path.
