Each book has a journey beginning in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Handmade Paper was introduced into the city by Ali and his Father; between the Goat Leather covers you will find a portfolio of original papers compiled into beautiful notebooks, journals and sketchbooks.

In 2015 I met ALI and made his portrait, in 2023 I returned to look for him and the shop and in 2024 we began a new adventure alongside Firoz and Aziz the Son and Grandson of Ali.
